Are perfect fit blinds the right answer for my Dartford new build?

Often yes. Most modern Dartford UPVC frames take perfect fit clips cleanly, no drilling, child-safe by design. We confirm at survey.

How quickly can you reach Dartford from Rochester?

About forty minutes via the A2/M2. Surveys typically scheduled within the week.

Do you handle smart-home integration for motorised blinds?

Yes. Most of our motors integrate with Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit. We do the pairing as part of the install.

Will you cover Bluewater, Ebbsfleet and the new estates?

Yes - the Ebbsfleet corridor, Bluewater fringes, and the modern estates around Greenhithe are all part of our regular Dartford run.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Barry and Alex come and fitted my shutters, no mess at all, you would never of known they had been. My curtain poles were close to the shutters, so I was unable to open my shutters fully. After a day I had decided a wanted my curtain pole moved. Messaged Barry and they were moved in a few day, again without any problems. I am now hoping to have the thermal blinds at the back of my house. Would never use any one else and HIGHLY recommend these guy. 5 star service, from start to finish.

OUR PRODUCTS

Our Complete Made to Measure Blinds

Every blind we supply is made to measure in Kent, manufactured in British workshops, and installed by our own fitters rather than subcontractors. Our ranges are child safe as standard, available in hundreds of fabric and colour combinations, and can be motorised for skylights, loft rooms, or whole house smart home integration.

Venetian Blinds

Real wooden and faux wood Venetian blinds in 25 mm, 35 mm, and 50 mm slat widths. Wooden Venetian blinds bring natural warmth to living rooms, while faux wood resists moisture in kitchens and bathrooms.

Roller Blinds

Understated and endlessly practical, available in blackout, sheer, waterproof, and solar reflective fabrics. A timeless choice for bedrooms, home offices, and bay windows alike.

Vertical Blinds

Designed for sliding doors, large picture windows, and conservatories. Slat widths of 89 mm and 127 mm are available, each with a child safe wand and flame retardant fabric options.

Perfect Fit Blinds

A no drill, frame clipped solution engineered specifically for uPVC and double glazed windows. An excellent option for tenants and for anyone unwilling to compromise their window seals.

Vision Blinds

Also known as day and night blinds. Alternating sheer and opaque bands allow precise, continuous control over daylight and privacy in a single product.

Pleated & Cellular Blinds

The most thermally efficient blind we supply. Honeycomb cells trap a layer of still air at the glass, cutting draughts and improving the energy efficient performance of single glazed or older windows.

why choose us

Why Choose The VIP Shutter Co

Choosing a made to measure window treatment is a long term investment, and the company you trust to deliver it matters just as much as the product itself. Here is why Kent homeowners, from period townhouses in Rochester to coastal properties in Folkestone, continue to choose The VIP Shutter Co year after year.

Carpenter Led Installation

Our founder, Barry, is a qualified carpenter with more than 25 years on the tools. Every shutter is scribed, shimmed, and finished to a cabinetmaker’s standard, which is an attention to detail that mass market shutter companies rarely match.

20+ years of experience

We have fitted shutters in every style of Kent home, from Medway terraces to Tunbridge Wells Victorians. We know what works and we will tell you if something does not.

Demonstrable Energy Efficiency

Independent testing has shown that a well fitted plantation shutter can cut heat loss through a window by up to 52 per cent. For a family with large bay windows or a period home with single glazing, the savings on heating bills can be considerable year on year.

Genuinely Local, Not a National Franchise

We are a small family team in Rochester who have measured, fitted, and serviced thousands of windows across Kent. We understand period sashes in Faversham, conservation area rules in Tunbridge Wells, and the particular demands of coastal properties from Whitstable to Folkestone.
