Moisture-resistant blinds for bathrooms and en-suites

Bathroom Blinds in Kent

Bathrooms eat ordinary blinds. Steam, condensation, splashes and humidity warp wood, fade fabric and rust mechanisms. Bathroom blinds are specified differently. The fabrics and finishes we use in the bathroom are chosen for moisture tolerance, easy cleaning and dimensional stability. We make and fit bathroom blinds to order across Kent, in PVC roller, faux-wood Venetian, perfect fit and waterproof shutter formats.

Moisture-resistant by specification

What are bathroom blinds?

A bathroom blind is simply a blind specified to handle a bathroom’s environment. The most common choices are PVC roller blinds, which wipe clean with a damp cloth and resist splash damage; faux-wood Venetian blinds, which look like timber but won’t warp or discolour in damp; and perfect fit blinds, which seal cleanly against the UPVC frame and don’t catch when the window is opened to vent.

For bathrooms with deeper privacy needs (en-suites overlooked by neighbours, ground-floor cloakrooms facing the street) we usually recommend a perfect fit blind in a translucent fabric, or a waterproof shutter if you want shutter aesthetics in a wet room. Both options stay neat in steam and don’t trap mould against the window.

If your bathroom faces direct sun, anti-condensation lining and reflective performance fabrics keep the room cooler in summer and reduce the steam shock when winter showers hit a cold window.

Wet rooms, family bathrooms, downstairs cloakrooms, kitchens

Best for: family bathrooms and en-suites

Family bathrooms. PVC roller blinds and faux-wood Venetians wipe clean and don’t fade.

En-suites. Perfect fit blinds clip cleanly into the UPVC and don’t catch when the window opens to vent.

Wet rooms. Waterproof ABS shutters or PVC perfect-fit blinds where steam is constant.

Downstairs cloakrooms. Where the window faces the street and privacy is the priority, a translucent perfect-fit roller works well.

Materials and finishes

Our bathroom range uses PVC, faux-wood and performance fabrics specified for damp environments. Avoid wooden Venetian blinds and untreated cottons in bathrooms unless the room is exceptionally well ventilated.

How It Works

3 Steps to Your New Window Treatment

Our process is designed around genuine advice and careful craftsmanship, from the first call to the moment your blinds are fitted.

Free home survey and same-day quote

Barry, our founder, visits your home, measures every window and brings a full sample kit so you can compare fabrics and finishes in your own light. Surveys take 10 to 20 minutes. You receive a written quote by email the same day. No obligation.

UK manufacturing

Once you confirm the order, the blinds are made to the exact dimensions captured at survey by our British workshop partners. UK manufacture means short lead times and tight quality control.

Carpenter-led fitting

We install the blinds in a single visit. Brackets are levelled, mechanisms are tested, and we tidy up before leaving. A five-year manufacturer warranty plus a two-year fitting warranty come as standard.

How much do bathroom blinds cost?

Bathroom blinds typically cost the same as a comparable blind in another room. The PVC fabric is no more expensive than a standard fabric, and the perfect-fit frame adds a small premium where used. Read more in our guide on bathroom window treatments. We give you an exact figure on the day of the survey.
