What Are Vision Blinds?
A vision blind has two layers of fabric on a single roller mechanism. Each layer is striped: alternating bands of sheer (translucent) fabric and opaque (solid) fabric. Pull the chain (or remote) one way and the layers align – the opaque strips overlap and the sheer strips overlap. The result is a pattern of alternating filtered-light and clear-light bands across the window. You can see out clearly through the sheer bands.
Pull the other way and the layers stagger – opaque strips line up with sheer strips, so every band of the window is half-blocked. The blind closes off the room without going fully solid. For full blackout you’d still need a separate blackout roller behind, but for daytime privacy with daylight, vision blinds are unmatched.

Why Vision Blinds Need Careful Specification
Cheap vision blinds fail in three specific ways. Here is how we avoid each.
Layer alignment. Cheap vision blinds sometimes ship with the layers slightly misaligned, which means the ‘clear’ setting isn’t fully clear and the ‘obscure’ setting isn’t fully obscure. We check alignment at install.
Fabric quality. The sheer fabric needs to be genuinely translucent without being threadbare. The opaque needs to be properly opaque. Cheap fabrics fail at one or both. Our range is properly specified.
Chain tension. Vision blinds have heavier mechanisms than standard rollers because of the dual layer. The chain tensioner needs to be set correctly or the blind drifts. We tension at install and we know the right setting.

Brackets levelled, blind hung, alignment checked. We test the full chain travel from clear to obscure to confirm the layer alignment is correct. Most rooms 20-30 minutes per blind.
