If you are searching for the finest kent shutters, The VIP Shutter Co offers a complete range of made to measure plantation shutters that combine architectural elegance with proven, measurable performance. Independent testing has shown that a well fitted shutter can reduce heat loss through a window by up to 52 per cent, which is why so many homeowners now regard them as an energy efficient upgrade as well as a design choice.

Every shutter is cut to your precise sizes and finished to the colour, stain, or bespoke RAL shade of your choosing. We offer six classic styles, each available in sustainably sourced hardwood, engineered MDF, and waterproof ABS, with louvre sizes of 47 mm, 63 mm, 76 mm, and 89 mm, and either central or discreet hidden tilt.

Full Height Shutters

The most versatile style in the range. Full height shutters cover the entire opening in a single, uninterrupted panel, offering complete privacy and a refined, architectural finish that suits both period and contemporary interiors.

Tier On Tier Shutters

Top and bottom panels operate independently, letting you admit daylight at the top while preserving privacy below. A tier on tier configuration is particularly well suited to Victorian and Georgian sash windows across Kent's period streetscapes.

Cafe Style Shutters

Covering only the lower portion of the window, cafe style shutters offer privacy at eye level whilst allowing maximum daylight above. A considered choice for townhouses and street facing rooms in Rochester, Tunbridge Wells, and Canterbury.

Solid Panel Shutters

Traditional, wood panelled shutters without louvres, offering near total blackout and enhanced security. Originally found in grand Georgian homes, they remain the authentic choice for heritage properties.

Tracked Shutters

Panels glide along a slim top track to cover wide openings such as patio doors, bi fold doors, and internal room dividers. An elegant solution for open plan living spaces where conventional shutters cannot reach.

Custom Shaped Shutters

Arched, angled, triangular, circular, or gable end. Each bespoke panel is engineered to the exact geometry of the opening, turning awkward windows into architectural highlights.

My curtain poles were close to the shutters, so I was unable to open my shutters fully. After a day I had decided a wanted my curtain pole moved. Messaged Barry and they were moved in a few day, again without any problems. I am now hoping to have the thermal blinds at the back of my house. personal Measurements. Once we have conducted out survey we then pass our measurements to the manufacturer to which they will make your product to. 100% bespoke & not of any shelf.

DO YOU HAVE SHUTTERS AND BLINDS OFFERING A BLACKOUT VALUE?

Shutters are not always 100% blackout but they are at a high percentage, but you can have integrated B/O blinds as an option. Our blinds vary depending on the fabrics which we will advise.
